Tailors Green – Phase One now released.

Work has begun on Tailors Green, an exciting new development of stylish, stonebuilt, homes in the historic Kirklees village of Shepley and the first phase of ten homes has just been released.

Set amidst the natural surroundings of the South Pennine Regional Park, Tailors Green has been designed for families looking for traditional, high-quality homes. In total there will be just 27 properties on this exclusive village development, which includes 4 bedroom town houses and a selection of 3 and 4 bedroom detached and semi-detached houses with garages.

Zoe Rosenberg, Head of new homes at Ryder & Dutton Sales Agents in nearby Holmfirth, comments: ‘Judging by the high levels of interest, the new development certainly measures up with the aspirations of the market. We have already received huge levels of interest from potential buyers who will have the first opportunity to buy one of these enviable family properties.

‘Amongst the first houses to be offered will be one of the spacious 1,383 sq ft Woodale range of 4 bedroom, detached homes featuring an integral garage; and seven properties from the Lilac range, comprising 3-bed, 911 sq ft, houses in a terrace of three homes as well as a pair of semi-detached homes. There will also be a pair of 1,357 sq ft 4 bedroom semi-detached stone built homes arranged over three floors from the Chevin range.’

Shepley has a population of just 2,800 and serves as a popular commuter village for Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield.

Zoe adds: ‘Shepley retains the magic of a traditional rural village and that ‘village feel’ makes it a wonderful place for families to settle. Residents of Tailors Green will soon become part of the fabric of a proud and happy local community.

‘Importantly, the village offers first-class amenities, including excellent schools for all ages, a library, a newly-built health centre and pharmacy, and a dentist’s surgery as well as a host of local leisure and sports activities.’
